This video is very moving to me. This video is of Paul Harvey's famous "God Made a Farmer" speech. It's really moving because the only audio you can hear is the speech. Also this video played during the super bowl and its nearly 2 minutes long. It also had a backstory to it as well. If the video had a million view a week after it was aired, Dodge would donate a million dollars to the national FFA. by the end of the week it had some 16 million views. It's such a simple video but it's really deep. To a farm kid like me, the simple nature and all the talk of hard work really got to me. It especially got to me at the end when Paul Harvey was talking about the farmers son wanting to do what his dad does, and it made me really think that no matter how farm away I get from the farm, I'll always still be a farm boy.

The Media's obsession of Trump (part 2)

I could have added this text to my previous post but I found it would be better to keep it separate. In this post, I want to stem off the statement of the medias mostly negative coverage of President Trump. As we all know the news networks (minus Fox News, to an extent) love to tear down and discredit Trump at any chance they can. Most people who support Trump have, at this point, simply blocked out mainstream news all together because it's all negative. I had the idea for these blog post by watching a speak Trump was giving on RFDTV. The speech was about how Trump was fighting to keep family farms in the family by cutting land taxes and giving farmers a better opportunity to self sustain. Granted even the most diehard Trump fans probably wouldn't have heard about this because it had to to with a small minority of people, but my point still stands. Trump is doing a lot of good for this country but people don't seem to realize it because of our corrupt and agenda based news

The Media's obsession of Trump

Basically for the past two years, the news networks have been reporting almost entirely about Trump, and nearly all of it is negative. It's almost hilarious that I can go to anyone of the news stations, left wing or right wing, and can tell even before they speak that it'll be about Trump. I don't quite understand why a news outlet would think it is a smart move to incite false chaos in it's own country. What kind of message does that send to the world? In the current storm we're in now, the news networks should be seeking out the good along with the bad, rather than dividing a nation that is a lot closer than people seem to realize. At the end of the day we're all still Americans and it's time we all start acting like it.
