The scene that impacted me the most was the last one. This was where a cartel member was apart of the new defense force to help stop the same cartel he was in. It got to me because it shows just how much control the cartel has over the Mexican government. The amount of time, money and manpower to rid Mexico of the cartel would be astronomical.

That same scene was the one that surprised me. to see the cartel infiltrating the government was very surprising to see. It was also shocking to see the Papa Smurf guy change sides of Murelles. It drives home to point that Mexico needs a lot of help to fix it's drug problem.

A question I have after viewing the film was, how can Americans keep drugs out of the United States. The feeling that stayed with me the most was me wondering why the U.S. doesn't do more to stop the drugs coming across the border. one problem the film presented was how to stop the cartel. Another problem is just how deep does the cartel to into the mexican government. The next was how America can keep Americans safe. The film also shows the problem of corruption in the Mexican government. The last was how can we stop drugs from entering america.
